Opiate the Sun is probably my favourite E-L-R track, so I'm glad to hear it in the beginning of the album. Clocking in at 12:06 min, it's a pretty long track but in my opinion that's what a doom metal track should be. Hearing the song start off after the intro always hits and the main melody keeps being catchy throughout the entirety of those 12 minutes.

While Three Winds doesn't really get the same doom metal intro that the other tracks on the record do, I really enjoy listening to it either way. To me, Seeds is pretty much like Three Winds with a bit more of an intro.

Coming to the penultimate track, Fleurs of Decay, we get the msot vocal work so far, and in my opinion the best one on the record. The guitar, bass and drums are very much the same as on the three tracks before. To me, this is the point where the album starts becoming a bit stale. The last section and rainy outro are great though.

Lastly, Forêt. While instrumentally very cool, the vocals absolutely ruin the track for me. The style of these vocals just doesn't fit into the very mystical and dark aesthetic that the album had before it.

In my opinion, this album isn't as good as Mænad, but still not bad. The Swiss German verse on the last track (Forêt) really makes the album finish on a bad note for me, while the first half is overall better than most of the previous record.
